Business Summit coming to civic center

The fourth Annual Treasure Coast Business Summit returns to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center on May 11.

The event, sponsored by TD Bank will feature an exhibit hall and a variety of speakers. Ken Pruitt will be the keynote speaker. Pruitt served as president of the Florida Senate from 2006 to 2008 and is a 20-year veteran of state and local politics. He currently serves as the elected property appraiser in St. Lucie County.

The exhibit hall will showcase up to 120 business-to-business vendors, featuring a variety of business-related products and services. It’s an opportunity for business owners and managers to learn about what’s new and available in the area.

The event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County.

Vendor space sold

PORT ST. LUCIE – The third annual Treasure Coast Business Summit has sold out all vendor space for event on May 20.

The Emerald Room at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center will be transformed into an exhibit hall and feature a variety of businesses from throughout the Treasure Coast.

The event is presented by the Pharus Group and DLF Media, and title sponsored by TD Bank and GreenspoonMarder.

The Keynote Speaker is Frank T. Brogan, chancellor of the State University System.

Also on the agenda, a distinguished CEO panel that includes some of the most influential movers and shakers in industry and education today: Dr. Richard Houghten, founder and president of Torrey Pines Institute of Molecular Studies; Brian Ziemba, market president for TD Bank; James Crocker, founder and president of Waterblasting Group of Companies; and Ed Lundsford, senior vice president and General Counsel of the international movie conglomerate Digital Domain Holdings.
