The 12th Annual Treasure Coast Business Summit (TCBS) held on Thursday, October 15th was a tremendous success!
The TCBS is the Treasure Coast’s largest business-to-business (B2B) summit and expo, which provides a large scale networking and enriching educational experience for business professionals. The TCBS is held annually at the MidFlorida Event Center (formerly known as the Port St. Lucie Civic Center) annually in May. This year (2020) the event was postponed from May and rescheduled for October as the business community was ready to rebound into economic prosperity, as Governer DeSantis moved most of Florida into phase 3.
The TCBS is honorably and annually endorsed by The City of Port St. Lucie and sponsored in part by WPBF TV 25, MidFlorida Credit Union, and The Peter W. Busch Family Foundation. Mistress of Ceremonies, WPBF TV 25 news anchor Felicia Rodriquez remotely opened the day with fun and flair this year.
TCBS 2020 keynote speaker was Justin Beard of Derecktor Ft. Pierce. He shared their remarkable story of international growth and development. Derecktor is currently constructing the world’s largest mobile yacht hoist in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Founded in 1947, Derecktor Shipyards has since become a worldwide leader for excellence in the construction, repair and refit of yachts, commercial and military vessels.
The expo floor featured 93 business exhibitors, which provided a unique opportunity to showcase their products and services, meet other business professionals, learn about current opportunities, make day of sales, and establish relationships.
